Veteran's Day commemorates the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month of 1918, when an armistice was signed, signaling the end of World War I. November 11 of each year is the day that we honor American's veterans for their patriotism and love of country and to ensure they know how deeply we appreciate the sacrifices they have made in the lives to keep our country free.
There are so many ways to show your thanks:
* Say a heartfelt thank you to any veteran or person currently in the armed services
* Volunteer at or donate to a veteran's hospital (here)
* Donate to charities that assist veterans and their families
